The bishop of Pittsburgh’s Roman Catholic diocese said on Saturday he will release the names of any members of his clergy who are accused in a state grand jury report of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Mass was for Father Esequiel Sanchez and other passengers and crew aboard Aeromexico Flight 2431 that crashed in Mexico’s state of Durango July 31. Sanchez sustained some injuries, but was alert and resting.
A statement from the Diocese of Greensburg says that its efforts continue in educating “both children and adults in parishes and schools of the Diocese of Greensburg on how to spot and report suspected abuse.”
