    Paulina Guzik is a journalist for TVP, the public broadcaster in Poland. She hosts Między Ziemią a Niebem, a weekly Sunday news program covering the Church in Poland and in the world.

    She began her journalism career working for CNN's Anderson Cooper 360. She has covered national and international news for Polish TV stations including the U.S. elections, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the war in Georgia. She directed I Like to See the Sunrise (2019), a documentary film on Pope John Paul II.

    She holds a PhD from the University of Warsaw, is an associate professor of journalism and communications at the Pontifical University of John Paul II, and was the director of the International Media office at World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow.

    Guzik is the coauthor of WYD 2016: The Largest European Event of the 21st Century (2017) and Megaevents of the Catholic Church – A Logbook for Organizers and Communicators (2018). Her most recent publication is the article “An Unfinished Story of Conversion: Clerical Sexual Abuse in Poland – A Communications Case Study on Betrayal, Healing and Trust Recovery” in the October 2020 edition of Church Communications and Culture Journal.
    Guzik covers Polish affairs for Crux from Krakow, where she lives with her husband and two children.
