More than 800 people turned out for the centennial celebration and Mass at St. Ambrose Church in Fields Corner in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. Auxiliary Bishop Robert F. Hennessey celebrated the Mass, which had parts said in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. The Mass celebration included a liturgical dance and a special presentation of the gifts that represented the ethnicities of the neighborhood, including Irish, Caribbean, Central American, and Vietnamese.
