In a culture where public school policies are increasingly pushing parents out of important conversations about their child’s sexual identity and gender expression, Catholic educators need to take an opposite approach, said speakers at a seminar on the issue.
Mary Rice Hasson spoke to Charles Camosy about the May 31 event, “The #MeToo Moment: Second Thoughts on the Sexual Revolution,” which took place in Washington, D.C.
The “#MeToo Moment: Second Thoughts on the Sexual Revolution” conference was sponsored by the Catholic Women’s Forum and the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture. The event’s co-sponsors were the Catholic Information Center, the Ethics and Public Policy Center and the Archdiocese of Washington’s Department of Life Issues.
