The Obama administration is attempting to point out and reduce blasphemy and apostasy laws around the world in an effort to promote freedom of religion.
At least 53 people died while 50 others were left severely wounded when a powerful blast struck a civil hospital in Quetta, a city in southwestern Pakistan, on Monday morning. Each year hundreds of women are killed in Pakistan by family members in the name of defending family honor.
