Poor Clares’ monastery in Tennessee quietly closes; last four nuns move on.

While the Franciscan friars were preaching in the cities and rebuilding churches externally, Clare and the sisters were living within the enclosure with a stronger focus on contemplation, intimacy, and relationality.
