This weekend, believers are blessed with two separate but complementary observances. We have the Solemnity of the Conversion of Saint Paul and the first celebration of Word of God Sunday. While distinct in themselves, the two events do have a shared message.

With the new movie “Paul, Apostle of Christ,” Eric Groth, one of the film’s executive producers, said, “it was real important to tell the story of God’s mercy.”
The real danger with resentment is that it disguises itself so well in the perception of virtue and good will. And so, we can only find resentment in ourselves through sincere repentance and active prayer.
