    Mark Zimmermann, the national correspondent for Crux, is the editor of the Catholic Standard newspaper of the Archdiocese of Washington, where he has covered everything from the pope in Rome to CYO PeeWee soccer in the pouring rain. A graduate of the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, he is married to Carol Zimmermann, a reporter for the Catholic News Service, and they live with their three children, Joe, Anna and Matt in Germantown, Maryland.
