RADNOR, Pennsylvania — Police say a worker at a suburban Philadelphia Catholic high school has been charged with sexually assaulting a student.
The Delaware County District Attorney’s office says 33-year-old Christopher Serpentine, listed as a member of Archbishop Carroll High School’s fine arts department, was arrested Wednesday. He’s charged with four counts of institutional sexual assault over his relationship with a student in 2017. He was the school’s communications director at the time.
In a letter sent to parents on Wednesday, administrators at the school in Radnor say someone alerted them recently to monitor Serpentine’s activity. They say he was placed on administrative leave before charges were filed.
No attorney is listed.
He’s the second employee at the school to face similar charges.
Music teacher Jeremiah Triplett was arrested May 1 and accused of kissing, groping and exposing himself to at least one student. His lawyer has declined to comment.
