America magazine, the Jesuit weekly based in New York, will launch a weekly radio show on satellite radio provider Sirius next week.

Called “America This Week,” the show will present “analysis of news headlines at the intersection of the church and the world,” according to a statement from the magazine. The show, debuting on Sept. 10, will be hosted by four of America’s editors, including the Rev. Matt Malone, S.J., and the Rev. James Martin, S.J.

The show will air on the network’s Catholic channel, which also broadcasts a weekly program with New York’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan. It will kick off with a conversation on immigration. Future guests include the former spokesman for the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, Sister Mary Ann Walsh, who recently joined America as a national correspondent.

America was founded in 1909 and was part of the consortium of Jesuit publications that published a groundbreaking interview with Pope Francis last year. The radio show is the latest expansion at the magazine, which has included the hiring of several new columnists and writers.
