There’s a small leak in my house, which I’m selling, and my broker says I don’t have to tell the new buyers.

I’m putting my house on the market, and there is a small water leak in one room that I think is from the upstairs bathroom. I painted it over, and the real estate agent said it wasn’t big enough to mention to potential buyers.

I know from having bought two houses in my life that there can be lots of issues you don’t discover until after you’ve moved in. And the brokers are the experts at this sort of thing, not me. But my Catholic guilt is nagging at me. What say you?
