President Barack Obama spoke to a gathering of Catholic and Evangelical leaders gathered at Georgetown University for a three-day summit aimed at tackling poverty in the United States. Joining the President on the panel are Arthur C. Brooks, president of the American Enterprise Institute and Harvard sociologist Robert D. Putnam. Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne will moderate. Event organizers say it is the first time Obama will comprehensively address domestic poverty.
