Nine Catholic nuns in southern Michigan have died in January due to a COVID-19 outbreak at their retirement home, which had gone for months without a single case, officials said Thursday.
Dominican Father Maciej Zięba died from cancer on December 31, 2020 at the age of 66. He was laid to rest Jan. 9 in his native Wrocław, in southwestern Poland.
