Is it ethical to bring my child, a third-grader, to a large political demonstration and ask her to hold a sign supporting a cause?

My husband and I fervently believe in this cause, and we know that our cute child is likely to draw the attention of television crews and Twitterers. At the same time, we see that as a child, her views on this issue are unformed and to a large degree, not her own.

Are we imparting our values to her, or are we manipulating her to further our political agenda?
