ROME – As hard as it may seem to believe, the holidays are upon us and another year is almost over. By any measure 2022 has been a tumultuous time, and, like everybody else right now, the staff at Crux is looking forward to a bit of a break.
To that end, here’s the holiday schedule we’ll be following.
- The site will be closed Dec. 24-26, meaning we won’t be posting any fresh content from tomorrow through Monday. Our next updates will be Tuesday morning, Dec. 27.
- We’ll post new content as usual Dec. 27-30, among other things catching up with Pope Francis’s Christmas messages.
- The site will be closed again Dec. 31-Jan. 2, with the next set of updates coming on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 3.
- In addition, there will be no new “Last Week in the Church” videos on Tuesday, Dec. 27, or Tuesday, Jan. 3. We’ll resume our regular weekly schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 10, and by that point we’ll have plenty to talk about.
Rest assured, however, that the team at Crux will be monitoring the news even during our down time, and if something truly cataclysmic happens – if the earth collides with another planet, for example, or the pope gets married, or Armageddon breaks out – we’ll break our holiday silence and bring you the news.
In the meantime, on behalf of everyone at Crux, please have a deeply merry and blessed Christmas, and a happy New Year full of hope and promise. See you on the other side!
