I’m really annoyed at our parish priest, who told my family that only one person could deliver a eulogy at my father’s funeral. Everyone agreed my brother should deliver the main remarks, but my nephew wanted to say something since he was extremely close to his grandfather. He was crushed. Whose ceremony was it – my family’s, or the priest’s? It was ours, in my mind. I’m so upset I’m thinking of withholding my regular donations. What say you?
