I’ve been invited to attend a gay wedding. I don’t have a theoretical problem with my friend getting married; however, I am uncomfortable attending a ceremony created by altering the Catholic sacrament.
I’m considering being “busy” for the ceremony, but attending the reception. I don’t want my friend to think I’m a homophobe. What should I do?
